As
a way of empowering Nigerian youths as well as narrowing the gap of
unemployment, Thessy Isemede Foundation in conjunction with Abuja
based popular fashion house; Camels and Needle recently held a three
week orientation training.
The
orientation which was held at Gwarimpa as part of their cooperate
social responsibility to encourage fashion expertise will have the
trainees resumed in the factory for practical.
In
thesame vain, the foundation and the fashion house will extend their
programme to the IDPs, which after going through the training and they
will become professional tailors or fashion entrepreneurs .
Camel
and Needle is a brand that has continuously been on the rise with
regards to its exclusive design concepts and fashion creative of end
products. They have styled several high profile personalities and
celebrities in Abuja and beyond.
Speaking
to cross section of press men around, the Creative Director of the
brand, Mr Eghenayamu Ogbemudia Frank said the initiative will go a long
way to create efficiency and increase productivity in the fashion
market. He further admonished the new trainees to take advantage of this
opportunity and build on it to become an independent person in life
